Everything your child needs—no extra planning required.

No prior experience needed.
Imagine sitting down at the piano.
A song stuck in your head.
No sheet music. No chord chart. No tutorial.
And you can play it!
For many students, that sounds impossible.
Not because they lack talent.
Because they've never been taught.

Playing by ear is a skill anyone can learn.
It's not just for the naturally gifted.
I started experimenting with ear training over a decade ago.
Many students could eventually figure out a melody. But they still weren't confident. They guessed, hesitated, and fumbled around the keyboard.
I realized the problem wasn't the melody—it was the structure underneath it. So I reversed the process. Instead of starting with melody, I taught students to hear and play the chord structure first.
The result? More confidence, better understanding, and a much easier path to playing by ear.
I don't teach tricks. I teach structure.

What Students Learn in Level 1
Traditional ear training begins with intervals.
We start somewhere different.
We teach students to hear the chord structure underneath the music.
Hear the chord changes
Recognize most common chord movements
See patterns in chord progressions
Follow chord progressions without sheet music
Build foundations for figuring out melodies by ear
The ability to make up music on the spot is a blast,
but playing a song you know, with no prompts...that's
a whole different kind of freedom.
