This course is built for kids who are 10-18. If they are younger than that we recommend they recognize all the notes on the grand staff (or completed our preliminary level) or are able to play a triad (3 notes) at one time.

Joining the zoom classes are optional but strongly encouraged. The recording will be posted afterwards for any students who could not make it.

If all assignments are submitted and passed off then the student will receive a completion award. Each assignment is reviewed and the student receives feedback. This is an optional part of the program and is strongly encouraged for the progress of the student.

Generally, students need to take about 30 minutes every day. (younger students usually take a little longer, older usually go faster)

Yes! Everyone will benefit from starting at the beginning. We are looking forward to offering more levels in the future, but recommend each student start at the beginning so as not to be frustrated later on.

This course is on our app for all members and they are welcome to go through it at their own pace! We are offering daily feedback and live zoom classes to encourage completion rates and to build excitement for students. Many children thrive with accountability and structure as well as community and we are excited to offer this option.
