BEYOND NOTES

Step into the new era
of piano teaching.

Discover how to teach improvisation, composition, DAWs, notation, and incorporate A.I.—in just 30 days.

NEXT CLASS BEGINS SPRING 2026!

THE OLD WAY

For decades, piano teachers have focused on notes, scales, and recitals. While valuable, it leaves students bored, unmotivated, and stuck in the past.

THE NEW ERA

Today's students want more. They want to create. They want to improvise, compose, and use the same tools professional musicians use. If we don't teach this, we risk losing a generation of inspired musicians.

Today's students want more. They want to create. They want to improvise, compose, and use the same tools professional musicians use. If we don't teach this, we risk losing a generation of inspired musicians.

That's why we built Beyond Notes...

A 30-day teacher training experience where you'll gain the tools, confidence, and creativity to thrive in modern music education and share it with your studio.

It has changed my teaching!

I got my students singing solfege, playing jingle bells in all 12 keys, improvising!

I have not uttered those words very often—improv. Because I have not felt very good at improv. I still don’t feel very good at improv but I do it! And because I’m doing it, I’m teaching it and what a great thing that is for my piano students.

I composed a song called “Unbroken” and then sharing it with my daughter was life changing for her and for me.

The big myth in piano teaching is that creativity slows down progress. In reality, it's the gas pedal that makes everything else go faster.

Creativity isn't a talent you are born with.
It's a teachable skill, and it's actually easier than traditional methods.

I really enjoyed the Music Unveiled class for teachers. It was quick paced and introduced me to new skills that improved me as a musician and teacher. I am excited to continue practicing what I have learned and applying it in my teaching. The Skills taught are easy to apply directly into my studio an in my own playing.
